In addition to music, acting in front of TV screens Silvestre Dangond has been in the news for his new adventure: the restaurant The Rubia space in which the 43-year-old artist ventures into the competitive world of gastronomy.
The singer and star of what is known as the new wave of vallenato opened its restaurant in Valledupar, specifically in Unicentro shopping center of that city. With the protagonism of the golden color and the intense red, the place will offer signature food and dishes from the Caribbean coast, by the chef from Barranquilla Manuel Mendoza.
This adventure is related to Dangond’s past, who recently recalled on his social networks that together with his family they gave life to a restaurant called Dovecote, in the Valledupar transport terminal. “Today, 27 years later, history repeats itself with El Palomar,” he stressed on his social networks.

He also told the newspaper El Pilón that together with the chef they created a dish based on rice called the godfather, with which he paid tribute to the singer and legend of vallenato Jorge Oñate.
