Being led down the aisle by her father is the dream of Sophie, a young woman about to get married. The problem is that she doesn’t know her identity, so she decides to invite three men who were related to her mother, Donna, with the intention of discovering the truth.

It is the argument of Mommy Mia! the musical-theater piece, successful on Broadway, whose Colombian version -by Misi Producciones and the Universidad del Rosario- is about to premiere.

The production, which has great hits from the ABBA group as its soundtrack, has 100 percent Colombian talent.

Sophie, the young woman who prepares her wedding, will be played by Juanita Roldán, the role of Donna, the mother, will be in charge of Juliana Reyes. The three possible fathers of the bride are Sam (Juan Mondragón), Harry (Erwin Barrera) and Bill (Calo Mesa).

Other characters, played by Yaneth Waldman and Juliana Cuevas, are the friends of the family: Rosie and Tanya, respectively.

The production, directed by Felipe Salazar, has the participation of 35 artists on stage. Among the songs that are part of the repertoire are Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!, Voulez-Vous and waterloo

The show, which will take place at the Colsubsidio Roberto Arias Pérez Theater, will premiere on May 6 and will have performances from Wednesday to Friday at 7:30 pm, Saturdays at 3:30 and 7:30 pm and on Sundays and holidays at 4 pm, until May 28.
