What was Hassam like before he was famous?

On different occasions, the humorist has recounted small fragments of his life and revealed that he grew up in a neighborhood in the south of Bogotá with his mother, who was the head of the family. When he was little, his economic situation was not the best, because many times his mother had to perform miracles so they could eat.

“Well, I grew up with my mom, she was a single mom. Pasta was our only salvation because it was very cheap to buy, it was worth about $300 or $400 at that time. The only thing we had at that time was onion, tomato, oil, salt and color”, the comedian recounted on ‘Masterchef Celebrity’.

“I was very Nea. Back in 1998, no one gave a penny for me, not even me. The situation was difficult, she had just gotten out of the army and without a clear goal she spent her time in whatever job she could find. I finally managed to get hooked on a company where all I got was a 7 month sale, in the end I spent it all on some clothes and beer. I only saved 28 thousand pesos that the registration form at the District University cost. I can say that the love of God, the study, the theater and my wife saved my life. But if I could, anyone can,” she wrote in her post.
