With the clear goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, Ford Its strategy is to electrify its portfolio. One of its latest developments in this regard is the Ford Maverick Hybridthe first electrified pick-up in the segment in Argentina.

The new Ford Maverick Hybrid is equipped with a full hybrid system that combines a 2.5-liter displacement Atkinson cycle four-cylinder internal combustion engine with an electric motor. Together, these components deliver impressive power of 194 horsepower and a torque of 210 Nmwhich are transmitted to the front wheels by means of a e-CVT transmission.

The electric motor of this pick-up stands out for its lightness and power, and intelligently and automatically adapts to driving needs and power demand. In this way, the vehicle can operate in three different modes: 100% electric mode, hybrid mode or mode exclusively with the internal combustion enginedepending on the situation and the preferences of the driver.

In addition to its hybrid system, the Ford Maverick Hybrid has a high voltage lithium ion battery with a capacity of 1.1 kWh.

This battery is recharged while driving thanks to two systems: a Electric generator that transforms mechanical energy into electrical energy, and the Regenerative Braking System, which recovers the energy generated during braking. In this way, efficiency is optimized and the available energy is used to the maximum.

In addition, it has five driving modes: Normal, Tow/Haul, Slippery, Sand and Mud that adapt and configure different vehicle systems to provide the best response on each type of terrain.

As for his Exterior design, the New Maverick Hybrid maintains its robust design highlighting all the characteristic attributes of a Ford pick-up. While its cabin stands out due to its dimensions that provide maximum comfort to all passengers.

The New Hybrid Maverick, which is produced in Mexico, is offered in our country only in the equipment level Lariat.
