Joe Rogan: Elon, welcome to the show.
Elon Musk: Thanks for having me, Joe.
Joe Rogan: So, you’re a big guy in the tech world. You’re the founder of Tesla and SpaceX. What got you interested in those things?
Elon Musk: Well, I’ve always been interested in space and technology. When I was a kid, I would read all the science fiction books I could get my hands on. I was fascinated by the idea of space travel and the possibility of life on other planets.
As I got older, I started to realize that the technology we have today is not good enough to get us to Mars or to other planets. So, I decided to start my own companies to develop the technology that we need to make space travel possible.
Joe Rogan: That’s awesome. So, what are your plans for SpaceX? What do you hope to achieve with that company?
Elon Musk: My ultimate goal for SpaceX is to make humans a multiplanetary species. I believe that we need to become a multiplanetary species in order to ensure our survival as a species.
The Earth is a very fragile planet. It’s susceptible to all sorts of natural disasters, such as earthquakes, hurricanes, and pandemics. If something were to happen to the Earth, we would be wiped out as a species.
By becoming a multiplanetary species, we would be able to spread out to other planets and ensure our survival. We would also be able to learn new things from other planets and cultures.
Joe Rogan: That’s a very ambitious goal. Do you think it’s actually possible?
Elon Musk: I believe it is possible. It’s going to be difficult, but I think it’s achievable. We have the technology we need to make it happen. We just need to put in the effort.
Joe Rogan: I’m rooting for you. I think it would be amazing if we could become a multiplanetary species.
Elon Musk: Thanks, Joe. I appreciate that.
