Independiente Medellín debuts in the second half of the League in a home match against La Equidad. The game had a scare because of the blow the attacker received Luciano Pons.
When the first part was about to end, and the game was 1-1, Pons went to a divided ball with the defender Martín Payares, both collided head to head.
Pons was left lying on the grass and had to be treated there by the medical services of Medellín.
Payares was able to return to the match, wearing a protective cap, but Pons had to be rushed to a hospital. The blow was on the eyebrow, and it is necessary that they take stitches.
As reported in the official broadcast of the match, on Win Sports, the situation is not serious, but it is a precaution. That is why Pons was transferred to carry out the respective rigorous medical tests in these cases.
