The Porsche Vision 357 Speedster is based on the Porsche 718 GT4 e-Performance and features a chassis derived from the 718 GT4 Clubsport. As for its electric motorization and battery technology, it is inspired by the impressive Mission R.

The prototype stands out for its lowered and shortened windshield, characteristic of speedsters, which accentuates its aerodynamic silhouette. On the right side, it incorporates a tonneau cover, in the style of some classic convertibles. He carbon safety arch with a technical design elegantly suspends the driver’s headrest. In the back, there is the cargo cover and the anchor of the normal soft top.

The Porsche Vision 357 Speedster features a bicolor combination: Marble gray and metallic Grivelo grey. This choice is inspired by the historical precursors of motorsport. The front fenders are painted in dark Grivelo gray metallic, as are the front wheels. Miami blue contrasts are added, such as the quick-release mechanisms on the wraparound hood.

The anniversary logo, in metallic Grivelo gray and Miami blue, features the large “75” alongside the years “1948” and “2023.” Throughout the vehicle are comic-style unicorns, a unique creation by Porsche designers specifically for this concept car. In addition, the distinctive “Speedster” logo also catches the eye.

Cameras replace exterior mirrors and are located in the wheel arches, following the tradition of the classic Porsche ancestors. These cameras have an aerodynamically optimized shape that evokes wings.

The Porsche Vision 357 Speedster shares some design details with its coupe version. The signature of four light points on the front stands out, reminiscent of the Porsche 356. The rear lights are located behind a set of points milled into the body itself, while the rear grille presents a vertical pattern, a nod to the models Original Porsches. The third brake light is integrated into the grille design.

The width of the tracks of the Porsche Vision 357 Speedster gives an impression of stability and favors its dynamism. The 20-inch wheels, made of magnesium, are fitted with carbon fiber hubs and center locks, adding an exclusive touch.

The interior of the vehicle concentrates on the essentials and is fully adapted to the driver. The low seating position represents the very essence of sportiness. The CFRP shell of the seat is integrated into the monocoque, and the instrumentation is located above the steering column, presenting a transparent surface. The racing wheel gives a feeling of lightness, while the protective padding appears to be suspended.

Following its world premiere at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the Porsche Vision 357 Speedster will be on display at the Rennsport Reunion this year, which will take place at the end of September in the United States.
