The segment of electric microcars, aimed at urban mobility solutions and short-distance journeys, is already a reality in various countries. That is why it is not surprising the constant appearance of vehicles for this constantly growing segment and the MG Comet EVwhich was launched for the Indian market, is an example of this trend.

The new model, MG Comet EV, draws on the experience of the Chinese group SAIC in the development and manufacture of microcars for the Chinese market. The MG Comet EV is a very small electric car that has a length of only 2.97 meters and is designed for use in the city.

The car has a turning diameter of 4.2 meters and almost flat panels and 90 degree angles. The objective of the design is to make the most of the space in the passenger compartment and not seek aesthetics, but practicality.

The interior of the MG Comet EV is very simplebut visually appealing. The entire design focuses on making the most of the little space available and, therefore, presents straight lines and few elements.

In addition, it has an instrumentation and screen for the 10.25-inch multimedia equipment and wireless connectivity, voice control, air conditioning, rear camera, front radar and all modern electronic security systems.

The small MG Comet EV has a 50-kilowatt electric motor that yields 68 horses and receives its energy from a battery with a capacity between 20 and 25 kilowatts/hour supplied by TATA AutoComp, which allows it to have a autonomy of 300 kilometers.
