Peugeot has announced the renewal of the Peugeot e-208, his electric car, which will begin to be manufactured from November of this year. The goal is to offer a competent and up-to-date electric vehicle in terms of design and equipment.
The new Peugeot e-208 adopts the design language that other models of the brand already have, such as the Peugeot 508 and the Peugeot 2008. On the front, the new lighting signature stands out with the characteristic three vertical claws of the daytime running lights. The GT version incorporates independent optical groups with full LED lighting as standard.
At the center of the e-208’s grille is the new brand logo, which merges with the bumper. The taillights also feature a red three-claw design, with the GT version that adds LED technology in the direction indicators and in the reversing light.
On the side, the Peugeot e-208 offers different wheel designs, available in 16-inch or 17-inch sizes. In addition, exterior mirror housings finished in gloss black have been added, with the GT trim option also able to include this shade on the wheel arches and roof.
Regarding the dimensions, the new e-208 maintains the same measurements as the previous version. It is 4.05 meters long, 1.75 meters wide (with the mirrors folded) and 1.43 meters high.
The passenger compartment of the new Peugeot e-208 has seats with new available fabrics, such as black Alcantara upholstery with Adamite green stitching, which can be chosen in the highest finish.
He renewed i-Cockpit offers a 10-inch digital instrumentation for versions Allure and GT, while the basic version, called activecount with one 3.5-inch analog panel.
