Ferrari has officially presented the latest model of its program Special Projectshe Ferrari KC23. This exceptional car is part of the One-off series and has been specifically designed for a prominent luxury car collector.

The KC23 combines boldness and style, offering an extreme vision of a futuristic race car with covered wheels. In addition, it takes as reference the lines of the 488 GT3 Evo 2020one of the most successful racing cars in the history of Maranello.
The Ferrari KC23 has been designed and developed in the Ferrari Style Center under the direction of Flavio Manzoni. Based on the 2020 488 GT3 Evo, the car inherits its design, chassis and engine. The 2020 488 GT3 Evo is one of the most successful Ferraris, having won more than 530 wins and 119 championships in endurance races around the world.

This super car stands out as much for its elegance when standing still as for its exciting performance on the track. Its innovative aerodynamic features, such as the air intakes of automatic opening and the imposing rear wingmake the car visually striking and exciting to drive.
The KC23 has been designed exclusively for track use and is not approved for racing. Its main distinguishing feature is its dual configuration. While parked, the car displays clean, elegant lines, but when the engine is started, the side air intakes open automatically and the rear wing unfolds, transforming its appearance into an aggressive, race-ready vehicle.

From the beginning of the project, the Centro Stile Ferrari set out to create a unique and extreme car that would become a classic with a timeless design. The KC23 reinterprets the lines of the 488 GT3 Evo 2020, including the glass surfaces and light clusters, to achieve a monolithic and fluid bodywork.
It is equipped with impressive features such as vertical opening doorsa simplified front hood opening system and redesigned light clusters that provide a striking effect when turned on.
Intensive development work has been carried out to maintain the car’s aerodynamic and thermal performance. Has been created panels with special kinematics that are automatically activated when the KC23 is turned on. These panels improve downforce and ensure adequate airflow to cool the engine and other important components.

The interior of the KC23 is kept minimalist and similar to that of the 2020 488 GT3 Evo. Specific seats, upholstered in Alcantara, and the door panels and dashboard trim on the passenger side add a touch of elegance. In addition, the car features a camera system instead of traditional rear view mirrors, which improves aerodynamics and maintains the car’s side lines.
He color Gold Mercury of four layers that gives it a shiny effect and changes its hue depending on the light that falls on it. Also has specially designed rims in two sizes different to stand out both on the track and in static configuration.
