The Little Car Companymakers of handcrafted scale electric cars, officially revealed today the highly anticipated Tamiya Wild One MAX.
Based on the original remote control car Tamiya Wild OneFirst released in 1985, the Tamiya Wild One MAX has been re-released as a real scale vehicle and now it’s for sale around the world, with road-legal versions.
The Tamiya Wild One MAX comes equipped with premium features including four-point harness seats, a 5-inch digital display with marine-grade switches, Brembo four-wheel disc brakes and adjustable Bilstein shocks Combined with Eibach springs. It uses 14-inch Maxxis off-road tires on both the front and rear.
To improve safety and comfort, The Little Car Company has made some modifications to the original remote control car design. The cabin has been widened for two adult passengers. In addition, the front suspension struts have been softened, improving visibility and safety, while the front suspension itself has been upgraded from a “swinging arm” layout to a double wishbone setup.
For off-road enthusiasts, the Wild One MAX offers 270mm ground clearance, 34.1 degree approach angle, 28.4 degree pitch angle and 50.8 degree departure angle.
The Wild One MAX is powered by eight battery packs interchangeable, providing a total capacity of 14.4 kWh, an estimated maximum range of 200 kilometers and a top speed of up to 100km/hwith a total vehicle weight of around 500 kg.
Strictly limited to the first 100 customers to make a deposit, the Launch Edition It comes with exclusive features on top of the already lofty specifications of the vehicle. Once these hundred copies are sold out, the company will offer the standard Tamiya Wild One MAX vehicles at the same price and in unlimited numbers.
To add a touch of personalization, the holographic decals only present on the Launch Edition will be replicated to scale, allowing owners to embellish the roll bars of their RC model vehicles to match their life-size equivalent. .
