The Hunger Games will have a prequel. The saga -which is made up of four films- will now add the story of Coriolanus Snow, the leader of the authoritarian regime that rules Panemthe State to which they belong Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellarkthe protagonists of the four films.
In this opportunity, the film will show what life was like for the one who ends up being the villain of the saga before becoming the president of the regime.

The Hunger Games: Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes is starring Tom Blyth -who embodies Snow as a young man- and for Rachel Zeglerwho plays Lucy Gray Baird, the young woman who was a tribute from District Twelve in the tenth edition of the Hunger Games.
The prequel -directed by Francis Lawrence– will hit theaters in November 2023at which time the first film in the saga turns eleven.

What is the saga of “The Hunger Games” about?
The Hunger Games is a saga of books that, between 2012 and 2015, was adapted into four films: The Hunger Games, In Flames, Sinajo and Mockingjay II.
The main plot revolves around the inhabitants of Panem, a State that is subdivided into twelve districts and is controlled by an authoritarian regime.

Annually, two members from each district (A Man and a Woman) They must represent their people in The Hunger Gamesa battle where there can only be one survivor and all the chosen ones face each other.
Katniss -the protagonist of the story- is a resident of district twelve and sacrifices herself for her younger sister, who had been selected by lottery to go to the survival battle.

From the moment he accepts the challenge, the saga -through its four films- shows survival, pain and love in the first person.
