The love story of Denise Dumas and Martin “Campi” Campilongo It started 17 years ago when both were encouraged to be part of Showmatch. One day almost by chance they both stayed talking for a long time after the program, with his humor and simplicity the actor ended up winning the model’s heart.
“I left thinking ‘I hope he was thinking about me’ and I didn’t say anything. The next day at the theater, he enters listorti to my dressing room and -I’m going to say a bad word- he says ‘You, stupid, what were you doing with a friend of mine who calls me and asks for your phone number?’. And I ask him ‘Campi?'”, recounted the actress.
It was so that Campi took the first impulse and asked her out, she suggested that it be a group outing but he flatly refused, they either went out alone or nothing. What he did not know is that he was coming into Denise’s life at a very delicate moment for her since her father had recently passed away.
In it Intimate of the Week of People the actress would open her heart on this topic, “I am going to tell you something that is really what I feel: I met Martín at a difficult moment in my life and I felt that he was like an angel for me, he fell from heaven. “Dad sent this man to me,” I said when I met him. I swear. And the years go by and we continue very well because if there is something in which we have differences we always sit down to talk about it and it is discussed and settled. The truth is that we enjoy life together a lot. Being at home, watching a series, going out to eat, being with the boys. I’m very happy with him!”
When asked about what she falls in love with her husband every day, Denise Dumas replied, “I love Martín madly and admire him, we have a lot of fun together. We accompany each other a lot and what the other wants is always great and if the other doesn’t want to do something, we support each other and accept it without creating a crisis.”
Together they formed an assembled family in which are the oldest children of the television host, Isabella and Santino, the product of her first marriage to Germán Barceló, and her two youngest daughters, Francesca and Emma, who she had with Campi.
As a family they are all very close and if there is something that Denise Dumas loves, it is that everyone can be happy and enjoy their home, “We all like to go out to eat together, we have barbecues at home and we always invite friends. I like to feel that it is a house where people can always come, whenever they want. They are friends of ours or of the boys. We are all very close , pretty sticky.”
