After fifty years of activity, Aerosmith announced its farewell to the stage with a tour of the United States and Canada that will have 40 dates and will begin on September 2 in Philadelphia. It is still unknown if this last tour will tour Latin America.
The band led by Steven Tyler (75) released the news through its official page with a video in which they simulate the chaos caused by the rumor of their farewell, until the band confirms the information. However, This is not the first time they have announced their dissolution since in 2017 they went on a farewell tour.
“After 50 years, 10 world tours and playing to over 100 million fans, it’s time for one last try“, says the official Aerosmith Twitter account next to a flyer containing the dates of the tour that will conclude on January 26 in MontrealCanada.
What will Aerosmith’s farewell tour be like?
During his last batch of concerts, Aerosmith will tour in the company of the North American band The Black Croweswho will open each function of the tour produced by LiveNation. Tickets will go on sale on Friday, May 5 in the morning.. One thing to note is that the concert they will perform in Boston, the band’s hometown, is already scheduled for New Year’s Eve.
The farewell announcement was made after Steven Tyler will face a lawsuit for sexual abuse of a minor for an event that occurred in the mid-70s.
